Warren M Stirling (1955)

Mom has been gone since 1991. She lost my father in 1956 and remained alone until her passing. She lived in our family home, formerly the Banning estate, on Garfield from 1951 until her death. She developed an interest in painting and writing poetry and was active for several years in a poetry association. In her widowhood she never asked for any outside assistance and became a proficient investor in the stock market. In fact her broker would occasionally consult her for advice on certain issues. She was the great granddaughter of Fred Woodbury of Altadena, the person who planted the trees of Christmas Tree Lane. She is missed by her family.  Two of her sons also graduated from So. Pas: , Edward Jr., '53 and Warren, '55.
