Was a flight test engineer for the Air Force. Was educating future engineers, but then lucked into the field of moderate-severe special education.

Mostly California (Tehachapi, Mammoth Lakes), although I did get to live in Fairbanks, AK, for an entire winter, so I can't believe I'm such a snow wimp now that I've bailed out of Mammoth to return to SoCal. Big Bear is looking good for retirement in the next couple of years, though.

Family history living in South Pasadena

We sold the family house we grew up in several years ago, but when I drove by it a few weeks ago, I have to say that I love the paint scheme and landscape work the new owners have done.

My nephew and his mom still live in SP in the house he grew up in, so I still have a tie to the place.

[Date] What's happening in my life now

After 13 years in Mammoth Lakes (the last 9 full-time), I moved back to SoCal, where my house in The Meadows of Altadena has trail access oh-so-close.

One last comment...

What I'd like my classmates to know about me before our next reunion: I am so looking forward to retiring early (like, after the 2020-2021 school year). I plan to live overseas (Spello, Italy and Guernsey, Channel Islands) half the year and in Big Bear and Altadena the other half. I need to figure out how to travel with my pets without the airline killing them.
