Retired (2015) from teaching Art History at Cal. State, Long Beach. Before getting my doctorate, I worked in law as an administrator (and practiced without a license), and as a dancer and singer for a decade or so. I think I'm the only woman who has done that after seven children, if you'll forgive a small brag.

Only three in the last 50 odd years -- South Pasadena, Sherman Oaks, and San Pedro (well, okay, we had a house in Palos Verdes for three years). We're still at the San Pedro house, but doing a lot of construction.

I'm actually from San Marino, but after getting married the first time, I lived in So. Pas. for twenty years. One daughter, Megeen McLaughlin Wong, still living in So. Pas. just behind the high school

I was the first to graduate from So. Pas., but five of my children and three grandchildren attended So. Pas. schools, as well.

Being know as "Peetie."

I've given up most of my academic organizations, but I am just joining Sister in Crime, and attend the So. Calif. Writers Conference regularly.
Nothing in high school.

Well, I guess getting my advanced degree is an accomplishment -- just felt like plain old work at the time. I realize that when they grow up, children are your best friends (outside of spouses). I mentioned dancing up above, being a performer never gets old (but you do).
With publication of my second book, I am now considering myself a"real" writer an am doing it full-time.
Now that I am about to have books four and five released, I'm definitely a writer.

Play the piano, and I'm learning the hammer dulcimer, and the guitar, paint (I have a Studio Art degree, also), and READ. My husband gave me a doll house for my birthday three years ago (second childhood), and I became obsessed with making furniture. As I said -- now writing full-time -- fulfilling a life-long dream.

We listen to the classical stations all the time.

I take a number of Science mags. such as Discover, Astronomy, Archaeology, etc., because they're so different from what I do. Watch a lot of period shows and murder mysteries on PBS.
Love murder mysteries, cozies, historical, paranormal, no true crime.

The family is adding to the family. We're the United Nations in ethnicity, religion, etc.

I guess I've pretty much covered the last 60 years. I did work for the Getty, and for Tony Duquette as a volunteer designer, but otherwise it's all been told above.
