Employed at Grey Advertising for 35 years. Headquartered in New York, Grey was the 7th largest agency in the world during the time I worked there. Last 9+ years I was in charge of Western Operations for Grey Advertising. Clients included Bank of America, So. Calif. Edison, US West, Taco Bell, Lucky Stores, Vons Grocery Company, Pacific Mutual Life, American Honda Motor Company, Knudsen Dairy, Coca Cola Bottling Company of Los Angeles, Kraft Foods, Granny Goose Foods and Red Lobster.

My mother, Ruth Canary Turpin was a graduate of So. Pasadena High school. My parents returned to So. Pasadena after WWII. I lived in So. Pasadena from 1944 to 1955. I married and returned to So. Pasadena where we bought our first home in 1957.

Single most important event in my life: marriage to my wife of 53 years, Ruth.

Family, public service (served on: Manhattan Beach Strategic Planning Committee, Manhattan Beach Facilities Planning Commission and serve as a consultant to the Manhattan Beach Downtown Merchants Association.) Reading and walking every morning on the beach.
