I became the director in February 1994 and have since enjoyed working with the public, the government officials and the 70 library volunteers (this includes teen volunteers, too). I have a staff of three librarians working with me. The village is small but very community oriented.
Pastimes & Hobbies
My book group has been a favorite pastime for me. We have read everything from Ulysses to The number 1 Ladies Detective Agency. I love to travel and France is my top choice to return to in the near future.

I have many favorite books. On Beauty by Zadie Smith.Tortilla Curtain by T.C. Boyle. A Moveable Feast by Hemingway, The Piano Tuner by Daniel Mason, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See. For t.v., it's John Stewart and Entourage. The Travel channel is great, too.
