Alan Cariffe
December 20, 1938 - July 22, 2020
A kind and loving father of five, brother, uncle, friend, philosopher, mentor, pilot, rocket scientist, software developer, inventor, and charmer. His passion was for the stars and all things science. He loved to delight his friends, family, and even total strangers with his numerous sayings, wisdoms, and quips: 'There are no small acts'
Survived by his children - Deborah, Christina, Kenneth, Kevin, and Elizabeth (Kelsey) and brother, Franklin 'Lin' Cariffe '62. He was predeceased by brother, Joel Cariffe '55.

The Carife's grew up across the street from us on Fletcher Ave. Alan was a happy soul with a HUGE brain !! I always enjoyed him, and was fascinated with his knowledge !!
