Gina Chiarenza Gillman

I grew up in Rosemead, CA, and moved to SoPas the day after I finished 7th grade at Muscatel School. Moved from SoPas to Alhambra soon after graduation, and stayed in LA County until about 1985, when we moved to Orange County. We left OC in 1999 and spent the next 12 years in Decatur, Alabama (and we ain't never going back!), and upon my husband's retirement, we moved to Sedona, AZ. It's nice to be within driving distance of family and friends now.

We only lived in SoPas from about 1970-1974. My dad bought our house from family friends, the Salvaggios.

My brother, Eric "Rick" Chiarenza, went to SPHS for a short time. He would have been class of '72.

I probably keep in touch with Robin Paul ('71) the most, and always try to see her when I am in SoCal. It's nice and so easy now to communicate on Facebook with dear friends Robin Dombrowski ('74), her sister Jill Dombrowski Cordell(73?), and Gina DaVanzo '74 and, of course, Charlie Adams ('74)!

Oh gosh, so many good ones, and lots of not so good ones as well.

It's been a dream of mine for several years now to go to India. That dream comes true in November, 2013, as I will be spending 5 weeks in India on a spiritual, sightseeing and shopping tour!
