Mary Evelina Juhl

May 27, 1952 - June 4, 2023

At age 71, of cancer, in Los Angeles. Mary had lived in Badajoz, Spain after marrying Juan Diaz and having two daughters, Jane Diaz-Juhl and Carla Diaz-Juhl. She returned to Los Angeles in April 2005 to assist her elderly father and to manage his apartment buildings. She was a wonderful ESL teacher in Spain and later in Los Angeles. She graduated from Cal State LA in 2009.

Mary is survived by her two daughters, three grandchildren, and many friends. She will be remembered for her kind and friendly manner and was a gracious lady who was generous in spirit to many. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Steve Juhl '71 and Katie Juhl '73.
