Occupation(s), Career Details
After graduating from Aurora college in 1974, along with Mike Wible,
I began working on a Ca. Teaching credential at Point Loma College, with a major in PE, and a minor in Biology.
My first prodessional experience came as a Physical Director at the San Gabriel Valley Family YMCA, and the Head Wrestling coach at San Gabriel High School, and began substituting on a Partial teaching credential in the Alhambra, and SP School Destricts.
Durring the summer of 1975 I moved to San Diego to substitute, and continue working on my teaching credential. While taking a Marien Biology class at Point Loma College I met this amazing woman, Cindy. After one date, she ran the other way, and I moved to Ramona to begin coaching wrestling, and football. We did see each other on campus at PLC, and one day she said she wanted to come to watch my team wrestle. I had other friends tell me they were going to come to Ramona to watch my team wrestle, but none ever did, so when she come I was impressed, and ask her to marry me. That was after only 6 dates, and a week later she said yes. We were married Aug 6,1977.
After coaching, and substituting in Ramona for 2 years, I was hired to coach wrestling, and football and teach biology, and physiology at Escondido High School. In 1980 I was transfered to San Pasqual High school to teach biology, and life science. and continue coaching I am still teaching at SPHS ironic. Thanks to "NoChild Left Behind" I am teaching PE fulltime, and loving it.
In the summers I have done a variety of things. Auto sales, Realistate, Park Ranger, and Educator at the Wild Animal Park.
I have been working on a number of Personal Training certifications, and am looking foreward a new careere as a Personal Trainer.
