My vocation is tax accountant, my avocation is quilting. I have managed to blend the two quite nicely, but never enough time for the latter. In 2007, I purchased a long arm quilting machine. I quilt for others while I continue to design and pursue quilt art. Have spent my time since Covid taking Improvisational quilt classes at the Crow Barn in Baltimore, Ohio.

Grad night

I am an avid quilter, seamstress, doll maker and knitter - you name it, I've probably done it. I am a member of SAQA, an art quilt group and I have several goals in mind before it's over. I am Treasurer of an art quilt group called Quilts on the Wall that meets in Costa Mesa, CA

I love to garden. No gardener can please me. When I have time, my garden is amazing. When I don't, oh well.

I have a 1989 Jeep wrangler with lots of upgrades. I have driven most of the challenging trails in CA with the exception of the "hammers" . I like to jeep in Colorado and at Moab.

Lastly, I like to go to Glamis and drive on the sand with my Yamaha Banshee or my RZR - I have a motorhome that I drive and tow either the motorcycle trailer or the jeep.

I like music that makes me want to dance or has nice words. I listen to the Pulse on Sirius XM.

I have belonged to a book club in Coto since the early 80's. They force me to read quality literature and I am glad. (only 6 of us left, and only 2 still living in Coto).

I like to watch movies on Netflix. I rarely watch live TV - everything is recorded and I watch at my leisure.

I listen to talk radio in the car - my ipod in my office. I'm hooked on Audibles

2024 - I live in paradise - I wake every morning to the sight of hot air balloons. I still drive my RV but don't ride the toys anymore. I started knitting again. I have a lot of room for visiting quilters and friends. Some days we just sew all day. I have 3 cats and a dog, and they are a lot of work.

My goal for 2024 is to finish all the class exercises from the Crow Barn. I just quilted my first one - probably 10-15 to go. Then I want to make new ones.

I live in the most conservative city in California - and I love it!
