My latest project is under budget, but is taking way longer then the time I allotted. I want to expand from flipping into having houses built, as well.

I'm raising money to finish my bachelor's degree in nutrition.

I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2007. Since most of you will never see Fort Collins, the best way I can describe it is if the Twilight Zone and Mayberry (the town where the Andy Griffith show was set) had a baby, you would have Fort Collins.

In 2017 I fled north to Wyoming, just escaping the epic skiing and micro breweries of Colorado by the skin of my teeth.

My dad moved to South Pasadena when he was five. He left at age 64 to live in San Antonio, TX. Talk about guts!

My(ex) husband and I were raising our kids in South Pasadena until 2007.

Never.
"When are you going to get a real job?"
Beats me.
"When will you marry that guy you're sleeping with?"
Not sure.

Scene: Junior high, home ec. class. One of my classmates has put a sewing machine needle right through her finger! I instantly begin to throw up in my mouth a little, cringing at the thought of blood, this poor girl going to the school nurse, only to be packed up and sent to an emergency room! Our teacher, Mrs. Hinkle is there and she has all the answers. She approaches the girl, speaking in a calm manner so that no one panics. "What is wrong with you? You could have broken a $500 sewing machine!"

I, like the rest of you, turn 60 this year. It's so good to finally have an explanation for all the wrinkles and gray hair! It's strange and terrifying, like junior high, all over again, the sudden attraction to the opposite sex, pubic hair, Mrs. Santiago...Only there's no middle section class to explain anything! So, I have created at least one tip for you. First, if you're angry and embarrassed by senior discounts like I am, just turn around to look for the old person behind me. If, that doesn't stop them, just do what I do. Look them square in the eye and explain that you're only 25 years old and that you have done A LOT of drugs! If, they're not buying that either swallow your pride bring up the calculator on your phone just see how much you'll actually save.

I am finally living my dream of being a checker at Walmart.
