Pastimes & Hobbies

Enjoy plays in Berkeley and Ashland, OR; Smuin ballet in Walnut Creek, San Francisco Opera, and trying to contact grandchildren to see how their lives are going. Had to learn to text to do that!

Favorite Music, Songs, Bands

Classical music on the radio and iPod whenever I can. Enjoy the modern classical music of Whitacre as well as the more well known composers.

[Date] What's happening in my life now

Joan died in May. I've been traveling - Nice, France; Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland; Sitka, AK; Mendocino, CA. Two daughters live in Davis and we see each other regularly - really helps because I miss Joan terribly. Live at a retirement center and have many friends here too.

She took several of us on a great camping/hiking trip to the Havasu falls area in the grand canyon. Beautiful turquoise water, warm evenings, good friends. Still have some slides of the trip. A wonderful teacher!
