I worked as a RN at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena for 44 years. I absolutely loved my many years of nursing...sometimes difficult though rewarding life experiences. I had the pleasure of interacting with wonderful staff, physicians and many patients and families whose memories are forever in my heart ❤️. I started donating blood because of a patient I cared for.

Born in Santa Monica and moved to South Pasadena when I was 19 months of age. And I still live in So Pas!

I enjoyed being the Managing Editor of the Copa. Wonderful memories of my four best friends Susan, Laurie S, Sandy and Laurie G. Going to Henry’s for cherry cokes and fries after football games.

I participate as a dog mother to our Pomerania-poodle Lulu and golden retriever Roscoe, head supervisor of the Ashby home and Nana to our seven grandchildren.

July 8 1974 - birth of first child Allison
March 26 1977 - birth of second child Kevin
August 2012 - retired from Huntington Hospital
May 1996 - birth of first grandchild Brandon (first of 7)
August 7 2021 - our 50th wedding anniversary

Being a grandparent of seven is fun, exhausting, wonderful and extremely special! We are “Nana”and “Bugga”. We are part of our class reunion committee and are planning our 55th reunion for 2020. Unfortunately our class reunion cancelled due COVID pandemic that has changed our lives and the whole world! One of wonderful and happy events is our Dodgers and their success!

Family and friends are what is important and special. I have been part of our class reunion committee since graduating and planning for our 55th reunion this September.
We have two furry kids: Lulu a Pomeranian poodle and Roscoe a Golden Retriever. These two add love and fun to our lives
