My parents moved to South Pas in the '20's. My Dad (Dr. Hoyt) had an Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat practice on Fair Oaks Ave, across from the Rialto. Mom and Dad built a house on Alta Vista, just below the water tower in 1939 and lived there many years.

Shared my love for creation, engendered many years ago by Ms. Sowards' Biology class, with various organizations in the Sonoran Desert. Helped prepare plant identification signage in various locations around the Scottsdale, Carefree and Cave Creek, AZ.

Classical and Christian

2014-present, Dave and I serve as Community Bible Study(CBS) Ambassadors to Tanzania, Kenya and DR Congo. Lots of emails, WhatsApp and Zoom or travel to these countries as conditions permit.
May 23 - July 21, 2022 in Kenya and will travel to Tanzania before returning to Arizona to encourage people to build a relationship with God through the study of His Word, the Bible.
