John Rentchler
May 19, 1942 - October 14, 2025
I am sad to share that my dad, John Rentchler, passed away at home at the age of 83. I am so thankful that our family was with him in his final moments.
He was so very proud of his service in Vietnam and his 30 years of dedication to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Along with supporting many causes, he never would turn away a friend or family member in a time of need.
My dad was not one to take a break. Rarely did he go on vacation or take the time to enjoy what life could bring. My hope is now he is truly able to rest; sitting on a beach next to green rolling hills, where he can just see a Santa Fe train rolling off in the distance, while he manifests a buffalo herd walking by all of his favorite things.
