I am sorry to see that Ron is gone but I have sooo many memories of him. He was my neighbor and always fun...a great practical joker. I remember the time he put grease on the railroad tracks near our homes and the train had trouble getting up the grade and the times we all met around 1 am to see the Circus Train heading to Pasadena...putting coins on the track to mash them. His family was always welcoming and such good people. RIP Ron.
When I moved to Newport Beach in 1957 it was a very empty place after labor day. Fortunatly there was a huge beer bar up on 19TH street in Costa Mesa (the "Honeybucket") that featured a dixiland band on weekends. Ron played clarInet In the band and was quite good at it. I spent many fun fridays there along with many others. Rest in peace Ron.

Ron Keck was a really good cheerleader and a great example of "Tiger Spirit", jumping high and cheering big!
