Gary LoCicero
December 28, 1953 - March 19, 2026
Gary, of Encinitas, California, died at age 72 with Alzheimer's. Born in Brooklyn, his family moved to South Pasadena in 1956. In school he enjoyed Pop Warner football. He graduated from SPHS in 1972 and later graduated from Pasadena City College.
Gary had a passion for hiking with his friends in the California Sierras. He worked as a tile contractor. In Palm Springs he worked on Frank Sinatra's and Bob Hope's houses.
Eventually Gary settled in Encinitas where he raised his two children, Ben and Alissa. He was a very dedicated and devoted father. Gary purchased two beach houses. Most everyday he would swim in the ocean and run on the beach. He would help those in need around him, especially family, friends, and neighbors.
Gary is survived by his mother, Veronica; brother Richard '74; daughter Alissa, and niece Charlotte '21.

Just to let everyone know Gary Locicero son Ben was killed in an accident last year. Gary was a good friend and a kind person. We had a science class together. Mr Bell science class Gary and I sit next to each other and would crack jokes in class which of course got us in trouble.
