Gordon was a close friend--since graduation in 1956 I saw him often over many years at Lido Is. when I was back from university, or on leave from active duty, and during the two years I was living in Los Angeles.  Always a quick laugh or two at memories of various adventures with other classmates.  Lotta neckties, suits, sport coats, still in my closet some place with the Atkinsons label.  I think of him every time I grab a tie for one occasion (infrequent) or another.
